Above 1: Vilvin Sabo. Won The Barnett Lawson Trimmings Award for the best use of embellishment. Above 2: Karishma Shahani. Winner of the Design and Technology Award for the use of vibrant colours and unusual textures.

Above 1: Xiao Li. A whole collection of fantastic knit-wear. I'm so going chunky.  Above 2: Steph Goynes. Prints and sophisticated tailoring techniques but still totally wearable.

Below 1: Mens-wear designer Nattaphon Sampataphakdee won the biggest award of the evening "Collection of the Year". Wouldn't mind my boyfriend wearing on of those perfectly tailored pieces.
Below 2: Flett Bertram. The collection was inspired by jewellry pieces and vanitas paintings - and while one could have feared a cliché, Flett Bertram really managed to make a beautiful collection.
